NOTE: To buy the books at $10 off and get free shipping, when you're on the page that lets you choose which book to buy, change the end of the URL from POPFALL to MEM_DEC06 and refresh. You should now see a message on the page saying you'll get $10 off and free shipping. Also, it's crucial that you don't just buy a book, but also validate your email so that I get credit for your referral.

1) Click on this referral link: link.
2) Enter your e-mail and click "accept reservation." You will get taken to a page that gives you the opportunity to send invitations to others. Just click the "No thanks, I'll invite friends later" link at the bottom of the page.
3) On the left, you will see a box which has a column for emails (You should see your e-mail on top of Friend 1, Friend 2, etc.). In the same box, there will be two other columns, for "Confirmed e-mail" and "purchased." There should be two columns of diamonds with no diamonds checked. On the right, you should see the red Target gift card and underneath that, the script that reads:
"Get your FREE TARGET� Gift Card when you and 5 of your friends buy Entertainment� Books.
Click here to validate your email."
Click on the link to validate your email. DO NOT click the orange "Buy the book" link at the bottom, or your referrer will not get credit. Repeat, ONLY click the link to validate your email.
4) On the next page, you will get a notice telling you that you have to validate your email. Click the orange box that reads "Send Validation Email."
5) Go to your email account. The email from friends.entertainment.com should be there. Open it, and in the box it will read:
"Welcome to the Entertainment Book, FREE TARGET� Gift Card Promotion.
In order to qualify and maintain the integrity of the promotion, please validate your email address by clicking on the following link:"
Click on the link. It should now take you back to the status page, only the box under "Confirmed E-Mail" should be checked under your name. In addition, you will now show up under your referrer as having confirmed email. Underneath "Friend 10" is a box with your personal link. This is the link you need to generate referrals, so save it.
NOW, you may press the orange "Buy the Book" link. It will take you to the purchase page where you may buy any number of books.
6) To receive $10 off and free shipping, look at the address bar above. The last seven letters read POPFALL. Delete those, and enter MEM_DEC06. Hit refresh. The box at the top of the page will now tell you that you get $10 off and free shipping. Scroll down the page and click on the link for your location, or enter your zip code in the search box.
7) The next page is the order page. It should have the price crossed out at the top and tell you that your price is $10.00 less with free shipping. Hit the orange "proceed to checkout" button.
8) Finish the order like any other internet order and create a password. You will only be able to order the book and get credit after creating the password, since the "Purchased" button will not show up until you have done so. Only use the recipient's (your) email address. If the person being billed and the recipient are different, use the recipient's email address. Otherwise, you will not get credit.
