Jersey Isn't Proud

Steph, what were you thinking? Forget the question of whether or not Judd's been lying to you. Think it through. You're perceived as the force behind Jamie's elimination, when Judd wasn't informed of the change in the groupmind beforehand. When Cindy's kept in the dark about Judd's elimination, who do you think she's going to blame? And how quickly do you think the other players-- already unhappy about you getting a second chance at Survivor-- will jump at the opportunity to vote you out?

Ignoring that, sometimes you just have to trust. If Judd has been genuine with you-- and he's taken you along on two good rewards, for Pete's sake-- then he's your strongest ally. And he's a strong player. With both of you in the game together, you have a power base. Without him, you're dangling in the wind. Even if he was going to cut your throat, he'd have waited until there were only 4 players left to do it. Doing it sooner just makes no sense. But turning on him preemptively, you cut your own throat.

Oh, and Judd? Way to show some class, "man".

I root against the Jersey alliance, even though that's where I live.

If Stephenie makes it to F2 now that Judd's gone, I think she loses the vote for the $1M. But I don't think she thinks strategically like this (of the remaining contestants, only Rafe seems to show this quality much, and might have the best chance to win).

Last night I was mentioning how it turned out this season that the Apprentice/Trump is the only reality show which held my attention, not Survivor, not Apprentice/Martha, and certainly not the dumbed-down Amazing Race. As of the close of last season, that would not be what I would have predicted.

Did anyone else notice that the board changed during the immunity challenge? Danni was separated from Rafe by Steph's original path to the center -- and then suddenly one of the squares reverted. It didn't make a difference, but it seemed rather odd to me...

It would be so nice if you said WHICH TV show you were talking about for the uninitiated...

He did mention the show in italics in his post; and for that matter, it's the only one worth watching right now.

This pattern of the final group doing really stupid things seems to happen like clockwork whenever the numbers get down to five or so. I wonder if that has something to do with the stress of the game, the situation, or if they're jut not thinking straight.

One would think that this sort of situation would not play out if the contestants were not under physical stress (See: Big Brother) and yet the same thing happened this summer.

I still think that Survivor: MSFT Campus would be amusing as all get out. If nothing else, better strategies would be employed.
