I'm Not Sure What He's Cooking, But It Sure Does Smell

The first fifteen seconds of The Scorpion King gave me one of the heartiest laughs in recent memory.

Refresh my memory, please. I was coerced into going to see that (blank), but fell asleep for a majority of the picture. What happens during the first :15?

The camera cuts among a few scenes of snow-covered hills and mountains, finally coming to a snow-capped fortress. A burly, dopey-looking barbarian's head (with a missing eye) comes into close-up, squinting into the distance and cocking his head. We hear a sound, and his eye's impaled by a throwing star with a loud THUD as he crumples.

That's it.

It's just so sudden and absurd, it cracked me up.
