The good folks from Replay Amusements came by yesterday for a house call on my Addams Family pinball machine. The game features 3 magnets beneath the center of the playfield called "The Power". When The Power activates, it radically alters the course of the ball in unpredictable ways. I've had the game for a few years, but one of the magnets has never worked. They're all working now for a much more lively game, making me very happy. Thank you, Thing!

Any thoughts about which second pinball table you might get with your Millionaire haul? Hopefully one quite as quotable as The Addams Family, though that does cut the selection down somewhat.

Posted by: Chris M. Dickson on August 27, 2003 2:10 PMOops. I appear to have awarded myself two replays by mistake. Now that's what I call a Super Jackpot.

A second pinball machine is the single biggest temptation I have with respect to splurging on something with the Millionaire dough. Medieval Madness is at the top of the list, but those run around $6,000, which is more than triple what I paid for my TAF machine. That's a lot of tilting.
I've been hearing great things about the relatively new Simpsons Pinball Party, though. The theme's a big plus, and if the gameplay holds up... who knows?
Posted by: Peter Sarrett on August 27, 2003 2:57 PMI've always had a soft spot for the old Super Mario Bros. Pinball Game, which isn't really old per se. I'm no pinball expert though, so I'm not one to judge tables.
I would like to have a Doctor Who pinball machine though...
