Ah, Karma.
When Shawna desperately wanted to get out of the game, her Survivor allies refused to vote her off. Then, after scoring the coveted role of Alex's scalp masseuse and deciding she's in it for the long haul, her tribemates tell her to not let the tent flap hit her on the way out.
I think Nelson Muntz said it best: "Ha ha!"
Posted by Peter at March 19, 2003 09:40 PMHere's something I didn't get. At the end of the episode in which her tribe refused to vote her off, you see a split second clip of Shawna's vote -- and she didn't vote for herself!!!
Is it against the rules to vote for yourself? Otherwise ... huh?
Posted by: Stephen Glenn on March 26, 2003 04:16 PMAs a matter of fact, yes-- it IS against the rules to vote for yourself. They say so explicitly when they're down to three people. If player A has immunity, players B and C's forced votes for each other cancel out and player A is the only one who actually casts a vote.
Posted by: Peter Sarrett on March 26, 2003 09:37 PMAh yes. Of course. Hadn't thought o' that.
